What building technology has taught me about giving up…

Somewhere in my past I got the belief that giving up is something you must never do; it wasn’t nuanced at all.

While building Medworld, I’ve learned that the best way to build technology is to have a hypothesis then to test that hypothesis; you don’t keep building something that isn’t working.

But, before those hypotheses is the vision, the mission. That is something I’ll never give up on.

So, I’m being committed to the end goal, but flexible in my approach.

I think the issue with ‘giving up’ comes when we mistake the approach for the end goal. It is nuanced.

Perhaps it would be easier to call it ‘letting go.’
