The ‘other’ side…

If you keep saying ‘the bad guy won’ and judging everyone who supports them as an idiot, then you are playing right into the ‘good vs evil’ fallacy.

In any situation where both sides are casting the other as ‘evil’, we know that we’re dealing with emotion, not logic.

If history has taught us anything it’s that we learn nothing when we judge ‘the other side’ and use confirmation bias to reinforce our own beliefs.

Personally, I’m finding it useful to ask myself, “what if my views are wrong?” more often and see where that leads me.
