Being a change-maker means evolving the status quo.
If you’re already successful there’s a good chance you’re part of that status quo.
When a system is broken, some people will notice; they will see that their past beliefs were wrong and that new actions are required.
The ideal way to maintain the status quo is to shame people into standing in silence, for fear of being called out as a hypocrite.
So being a change-maker often means accepting you were wrong, speaking up about it, and essentially appearing to be a hypocrite because your new actions are contrary to your past stated beliefs.
