Recently, I was at an event full of entrepreneurs, and people discussed the need to ‘celebrate the wins.’
As a person who spent decades focussed on the future, on creation, and on achievement, I’d heard this so many times in my life.
It never rang true.
So, I never did it.
And at this event, I realised why…
Celebrating the wins is the same as not celebrating the wins… it’s looking externally for validation to be happy.
Instead of celebrating the wins, I think we need to celebrate the moment.
We need to find joy here and now.
We need to be grateful for what is.
Everything from all of time is available right now. Isn’t that enough?
