The paradox of acceptance…

Meditation and mindfulness are about accepting things as they are. This is also where joy and happiness are found.

Yet most good things in life come from improvement… our health, our relationships, our professions…

So it seems that the paradox we find ourselves in is to allow ourselves to accept this moment as it is, while at the same time not accepting that who we were defines who we are and who we will become.

And if that messes with your psyche… mediate on it!
