Good days and bad…
For a long time I have been saying, we have good days, and bad days, and we don’t know which is which at the time.
Recently I shattered my calcaneus (heel bone). I was up Cardrona in my official capacity as Chair of Winter Games NZ. I misjudged a jump and didn’t bounce.
It was a bad break requiring surgery, and three months not weight-bearing on it.
The day afterwards I found myself thinking about it, and wondering if I could magically change it, would I?
And my answer to myself was no, I wouldn’t.
Why?
Because I really do believe that we don’t know why things happen at the time. We can’t know the good that can come from a cause set in motion.
